Multilingualism in the Theatre of the Future

Promoting multilingualism and overcoming language borders in drama theatre will be the central topic of the ETC's next General Assembly. With experts we will shed light on translation aspects which are relevant to stage plays in a foreign language. Which technical know-how and equipment is needed, how are the relationships between actors and directors in surtitled performances affected and how are translation and interpretating skills adapted for the stage?
