'Diebe : Transfer - Translation on Stage'

The Deutsches
Theater Berlin organises in cooperation with the European Theatre Convention
and with the support of the Goethe Institut the new translation residency
entitled “Diebe : Transfer – Translation on Stage”. Dea Lohers newest play
“Diebe” will be translated into Romanian,
Hebrew and Swedish.
The Teatrul
National “Marin Sorescu” Craiova, the Cameri
Theatre Tel Aviv as well as the Royal Dramaten Stockholm will be taking part
in the project with each being represented by a translator, a director and two
actors:
Cosmin Dragoste, translator, Alina Rece, director, Iulia Colan, actress, Catalin Baicus, actor (Teatrul National 'Marin Sorescu' Craiova).
Eynat Baranovsky, translator, Noam Shmuel, director, Nelly Tagar, actress, Yoav Levy, actor (Cameri
Theatre Tel Aviv). Maria Tellander, translator; Jenny Andreasson, director, Melinda Kinnaman, actress, Filip Alexandersson, actor (Royal Dramaten Stockholm)

Public presentation during
Berliner Theatertreffen
On Monday, May 24 a public
presentation will take place at the
Deutsches Theater with scenes in Hebrew, Romanian and Swedish, following the afternoon show of “Diebe” by Dea Loher, directed by Andreas Kriegenburg, which was chosen to be part of this
year's BERLINER THEATERTREFFEN.
