NADIA - Closing Festival

ETC announces the closing festival of NADIA, ETC’s latest international artistic education project.

Nadia is writer and director Danïel van Klaveren’s second play about the virulent topic of the radicalization of European youth, questioning the reasons behind this new type of extremism. The play reconstructs the days leading up to Nadia’s departure for the Caliphate. Based on intensive exchanges in the conception and production processes, five stage directors from five countries developed five different interpretations of the topic. To conclude the successful international collaboration year surrounding NADIA, Belgian, Dutch and Italian Nadia productions will be presented in the framework of a small festival on 11 – 12 December at Fondazione Teatro Due in Parma, Italy.
