Scholarships for Ukrainian theatre makers at ETC member theatres

In October and November, ETC member theatres Deutsches Theater Berlin, Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, Staatsschauspiel Dresden and Kote Marjanishvili State Drama Theatre in Tbilisi welcome five young Ukrainian theatre makers to work for four weeks with their artistic teams in the fields of Acting, Dramaturgy, Stage direction international projects management and PR. The intensive work program involves the scholars in the daily creative and artistic processes until a production premiere, thus offering the chance to discover the working structures at public repertory theatres in Georgia and Germany. A scholarship meeting during the Fast Forward Festival at Staatsschauspiel Dresden (November 2-5) brings together all scholars with other European emerging directors whose performances are invited to the festival. Exchanging artistic viewpoints, working experiences and conditions is in focus of this networking session to provide new personal and professional perspectives.
